Seussical the Musical: A Whimsical Journey of Imagination and Heart
This April, our school proudly presents Seussical the Musical, a vibrant, family‑friendly production that brings the beloved world of Dr. Seuss to life on stage. Bursting with colour, creativity, and heartfelt storytelling, this joyful musical celebrates friendship, courage, and the power of standing up for what you believe in — even if you’re just one small voice.
Guided by the mischievous Cat in the Hat, the story follows Horton the Elephant, who discovers a tiny speck of dust containing an entire world of Whos. Determined to protect them, Horton faces ridicule, danger, and disbelief from those around him — while also caring for an abandoned egg left in his trust by the carefree Mayzie La Bird.
Through moments of humour, suspense, and tenderness, Horton is supported by the loyal Gertrude McFuzz, whose belief never wavers. Together, they remind us that kindness, loyalty, and community are powerful forces — especially when the odds are stacked against you.
Led by Ms Morgan, this production showcases the dedication, creativity, and hard work of our students both on stage and behind the scenes. From choreography and vocals to set design and ensemble movement, Seussical has been a meaningful collaborative journey — one that highlights confidence, teamwork, and creative expression.
