    Alumni Connect - Olivia Zhang

    Meet Olivia — a proud BWYA alumna from the Class of 2019, now deep in the world of social research at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. With a master’s degree underway in Social Research/Sociology and an undergraduate degree in History already under her belt, Olivia is blending the worlds of qualitative and quantitative research like a pro. But before she was crunching data and decoding graphs, she was starring in student films and painting surrealist dreams in art class.

    Looking ahead, Olivia is in the process of applying for a MScR in Education that could become her first steps towards a PhD. Thank you, Olivia for sharing your fascinating journey with us, BWYA wishes her a world of luck and success!

    Beijing World Youth Academy strives to provide members of our community with excellent learning opportunities that incorporate critical investigation, exposure to different cultural perspectives and assessment against objective criteria. Our mission is to develop principled, open-minded thinkers who are capable of integrating with diverse international communities and who are empowered to shape their environs for the improvement of quality of life for themselves and others.
