Short-term courses
BWYA provides high quality, intensive Chinese courses in an authentic Chinese environment. Our short-term courses are for everyone who wants to learn the Chinese language and culture. These courses are specially designed as an ideal supplement to any study regarding the Chinese language and culture or other studies related to China and it's economy. The way these lessons are taught makes it accesible for everybody to learn this challenging language. A total language immersion programme will improve your Chinese in all aspects, including listening, speaking, reading and writing.
University Preparation Course
During June, for three weeks, Beijing World Youth Academy Training Centre will hold a special intensive course to assist Chinese High School Graduates prepare for life at University abroad.
As well as covering English, Business and Management, Physics, Math and Visual Arts subjects, the course will introduce western methodology to the students.
Learning in Chinese schools is very different from the west. Students are expected to be dynamic and proactive, and the BWYATC UP course will introduce this style to them, hopefully reducing the ‘culture shock’ when they arrive and start work in their new schools.
The course will be taught by professional, qualified teachers from the west, using English as the language of delivery.
During the course, we will also have talks by ex-students from BWYA about university life with helpful hints and tips about what to expect.
